This full-scale styling model represents the formal development of the GFG Sibylla, created to mark Giorgetto Giugiaro’s 80th birthday and developed together with Fabrizio Giugiaro in collaboration with Envision.

The project reflects Giorgetto Giugiaro’s personal vision at that moment in his life and career, shaped by the feelings, needs and expectations he perceived while imagining a new kind of automobile. Rather than starting from a conventional vehicle typology, the Sibylla was conceived around a more direct idea of comfort, accessibility, space and everyday use.

Electric propulsion made it possible to rethink the proportions and architecture of the large sedan, creating a generous and highly accessible passenger compartment. The model gives physical form to these ideas, emphasizing the relationship between interior space, panoramic glazed surfaces and an unusually open approach to entry and exit.

One of the defining features is the absence of a conventional side structure. The central longitudinal element supports the second-row glazed sections, conceived to open upwards, creating a wide and continuous access area and giving the car an almost spider-like openness.

The recessed lower section between the wheel arches visually lightens the side and supports easier access to the cabin. Along the body, a strong line develops from the rear door towards the spoiler, while the same surface treatment defines the rear window and luggage compartment.

At the front, the slim horizontal headlights are integrated into the edge of the bonnet, while spoilers and air intakes are incorporated into the grille area. At the rear, the surfaces converge into a Kamm-tail configuration conceived to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

As a styling model, the Sibylla preserves the project at the stage in which its architecture, proportions and main formal solutions were defined, translating Giorgetto Giugiaro’s personal vision of mobility at the age of 80 into physical form.
