Ducato

The styling research for Ducato was a very complex one, because Giugiaro had to consider the different modular solutions to be applied however maintaining the common parts as much as possible. Its generously sized windows are flush with the coachwork and wraparound bumpers, which fit into the general outline of the body. The sober, uncluttered bonnet has no air inlets, the latter being packaged in special bumper housings. Inside, the wraparound windscreen and slender pillars make for excellent visibility. The front section door window, a sort of applied 'volet', descends well below sill level to improve visibility on the road and while maneuvering.
