Fiat's debut in the SUV segment
The Fiat Sedici is an all-wheel-drive SUV passenger car made by the Turin-based manufacturer in collaboration with Suzuki.

BRAND: Fiat

MODEL: Sedici

YEAR: 2005

BODY TYPE: SUV

POWER SUPPLY: Combustion

CATEGORY: Production car

DESIGNER: Fabrizio Giugiaro

The name “Sedici” (sixteen) is due to a pun referring to “4x4,” a common definition for cars with all-wheel drive. Construction of the model, along with that of the Suzuki Sx4, takes place in the Japanese manufacturer's Hungarian factories. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the “Sedici” entered production at the end of 2005; unveiled at the Bologna Motorshow in December of the same year, after a few months it was used promotively as the official car of the 20th Winter Olympic Games. The Sedici is characterized by styling with dynamic and robust lines, suitable for an SUV, but it knows how to maintain the handling and drivability typical of a Fiat.
